a boy 2012/13 | school program
I am eternally grateful to the host parents who took the risk of welcoming my son into their family for a year. They are the ones who pave the way for my child into another culture, who allow him to get to know a way of life that is perhaps completely different from the one he is used to. That's why it doesn't matter to my family whether the temporary parents are heterosexual or homosexual. The year abroad is supposed to be used to experience something new and previously unknown. And if we perhaps had any prejudices against a certain nation or a different way of life, an exchange year is certainly the best opportunity to eliminate them.
